MK7 VW Hatch Drainer

Notice water coming through hatch after a wash? Corrosion in trunk? This piece can fix the common issue where the hatch drain tube grommet rips off and allows the tube to fall inside the hatch. This then prevents draining and causes water to collect in hatch.I made this piece after replacing 6" of wire that corroded in my rear camera wiring harness from corrosion. Use a small screwdriver to align the remaining tube in the hatch with the hole, and press the plug into place. This captures the tube in the hatch and keeps it in place, allowing water to pass through and drip out as intended. Mostly intended as a short term solution until replacing the factory hatch drain. Printed in PETG with 0.2mm nozzle.
