MKK Cutting nipper replacement spring

The spring on the cutting nippers I was using broke. The cutting blade was still in good condition, so I felt it was a shame to throw it away. So I decided to just make a spring and use it. The hole that holds the spring is the same diameter as the filament. I used this to make a spring. Attach the filament to the spring you created and attach it to the nippers. Leave both ends slightly longer. Gently press the remaining end with a soldering iron. The material used was PETG.
