Mobaco is a game made by a Dutch company during the 1920's that was produced until 1961. Mobaco pieces were made of wood and cardboard. There were bases with holes to insert the columns and then with cardboard parts you had to add walls, windows, doors, ceilings, roofs, etc. The manuals guide you to place each part in the correct place and order to complete a building design. Among the pictures you can see a house constructed with original pieces combined with a couple of 3D printed columns that I was testing. Manuals come with a lot of building options, from tiny houses to several stories buildings.
