My brother broke his Moccamaster's lid and without it making coffee gets a bit messy. I'm not yet familiar with printing more heat resistant materials so I thought could it be possible using PETG without the lid getting deformed from the heat. So I made the opening wider thinking that may do the trick and let the heat out enough to prevent deforming. Also made the upper ridge a bit higher to prevent the mess when the opening is wider. I tested it making a full pan of coffee and didn't notice any deforming. What I did NOT do, is dry my filament beforehand, also haven't mastered the settings printing with PETG so the surface isn't perfect IMO. Getting filament dryer soon… Some of the support needed a bit effort to remove, maybe supports “print bed only” would be beneficial. I think it works flawlessly, but I believe in the possibility of the lid getting deformed during time if you don't print f.ex. with ABS.Whatever, this one is going to my brother. Cheers!
