Model Rocket This beginner model rocket is pretty fun. The design is sized to fit a 1/8" launch rod, and I have the standard file available for the 18mm engine. Building model rockets is a thrilling adventure, and this rocket design is perfect for beginners! It’s constructed with durability in mind, meaning you don’t have to worry about it falling apart easily. It's a great choice for novice builders who are just diving into the world of rocketry.To put the pieces together, I used super glue, which worked really well, but you can also try other adhesives if you prefer. All of the components are easy to print and don’t need any fancy supports. The second Rocket file is more advanced. It has a section for a payload and a better launch rod mount. It also has a section on the opposite side that counterweights the launch rod mount and holds a paper clip that is used to keep the engine in kinda like an engine hook.
