Model Rocket Fin Aligner (Universal)

This is a tool for aligning and attaching the fins to an Estes model rocket. It is designed to9 be universal....you can use it for any rocket with engine sizes from half A through D, three or four fins, it doesn't matter.

1) Print out the Guide and 3 or 4 fin holders. Slide the appropriate Rocket Holder into your rockets engine compartment and then slider the rocket onto the guide.

2) Clamp the fin holders onto your fins and then click them onto the guide. I recommend you put the fin holders onto just the farthest edge of the fin (unlike in my picture), that will make it easier to remove when the glue is dry.

3) Do a dry run: slide the fin holders up to the rocket and make sure all fins are lined up vertically.

4) Temporarily take the fin holders off, add glue to the fins, and put the fin holders back on.

5) When the glue is dry, use your fingers to pry open the fin holders and rotate them off your fins.

You can print this without supports and minimal infill.
