Model Rocket Nose Cones

These are nose cones for Estes style rockets.

The "Der Red Max" nose cone fits a BT-60 body tube and is the nose cone used on the Red Max and other rockets.

The "Goblin" nose cones fits a BT-55 body tube and is the same as the one used on the Goblin, Photon Probe, and other Estes kits.

These nose cones are designed with a base, so they're two piece. you can either use a screw eye in the hole provided in the base, or better yet use an eye bolt. If you use an eye bolt, epoxy the nut for it INSIDE the base so it stays in place once the base is glued to the nose cone. Using an eye bolt will allow you to add washers for weight if necessary to stabilize your rocket.

Print the nose cones with 100% infill at either .2 resolution or less. You'll probably also need a raft for those.

Print the bases with 20% infill at whatever resolution you want. Only the bottoms are curved. No raft is necessary for the bases.
