Model Rocket

Available for download is a model rocket. The parts only consist of the rocket nose cone and rocket base. These two parts should fit nicely with the estes cardboard tube. The cardboard body tube can be purchased at the estes website or amazon. Body tube model that fits is the BT-50 Body Tubes with a 0.95 in. inner diameter. The rocket base will accommodate model engine A8-3. The engine should fit snug (solid press fit) but if not, look closely, and you will notice a hole in the bottom of the rocket base to insert and glue in an engine hook. The base of the nose cone has a feature so you can tie the parachute to it. The nose cone should fit snug, but not overly tight to allow for the deployment of the parachute. The rocket base however, should have very tight press fit. I have tested and launched the rocket so it I know it works well (check out the video).

PLEASE NOTE the .stl files are smaller and need to be scaled 10 times larger to obtain the correct size.
