Modern Floating Displacement Rain GaugeBoost MeThis took a surprising number of prototypes to get right, and boosts help me recover the cost of filament to make new designs!This 6-inch rain gauge is designed with numbers exactly one inch tall for a modern and unique look. There are chunky and slim versions of the numbers so that you can print according to your preference. The bracket is designed for #6 wood screws (I recommend 1-inch length), but there is also a stand that can be placed in the ground if you prefer a screwless mounting method. Check out my other design for a more traditional displacement gauge in inches or centimeters. Assembly NotesNote the two ridges in the housing (indicated with blue arrows below). The front, flat face of the buoy should touch these ridges. They serve to prevent the numbers from spinning around and facing the wrong direction.
