Modern Remote Control Holder / Stand This is my attempt to create nice looking, modern remote control holder. I was thinking about how I want it to be. As I want to store my remote controllers from smallest to biggest, triangle shape was an obvious choice. I want them in some angle, so holder need to be in an angle too. And no flat as most design I’ve seen. Rounded. Oh and I like an idea of open sides and minimalistic design. I like how it turned out, I wish you will like it too! About the model. 22.3cm x 9.0cm x 16.5 cm. Can hold 4 remote control. Size of the holes from the biggest on the back to the smallest on the front – 62mm x 40mm, 62mm x 38mm, 62mm x 32mm, 62mm x 29.5mm. This model is universal and can hold most of the remotes available on the market, both big and the small. Being universal means the holes and bottom pockets are quite big. If you want to reduce possibility of remotes move freely inside the holder, you may use thin silicone mats. I’m using black 1mm thick one and it works great (you may see it on some of the photos). Check if you don’t have one at home already. Epoxy Resin mat. Kitchen mats. DIY or soldering mats. Bottom of some mouse pads will work too! If not, it’s cheap and easy accesable on eBay, Amazon or in local DIY Shops in sheets or diffrent mat sizes. I paid less than 1 Euro for A4 sheet. After adding mats my remote controls sits in place like glued :) In download section you may find additional STL file which is 1mm thick mat cutting template. If you have problems with your specific remotes moving freely, print this file, use it to cut silicone mat with sharp knife. Insert 4 mat pieces inside holder or fix them using double-sided adhesive tape. If you have TPU at hand use template STL as a print file for that mats. TPU may not work as good as silicone but will greatly reduce the problem.   How to print it? Put it sideways on the print plate. I printed it with 0.6mm nozzle and 0.3mm layer height and I not even used any supports. Smal
