Modified Snow Flake Panels (Split Body)

This remix improves the printability and tuning flexibility of the window panel, particularly when using translucent PETG and other materials that benefit from different process parameters in different regions of the part. The original design is modeled as a single solid body with a height modifier to change filament. While this works, it limits the ability to independently tune settings such as temperature, line width, speed, and retraction for the decorative base versus the translucent window section. In this remix, the panel has been cleanly split at the decorative layer into two separate bodies (base + window) and reassembled as a single unified assembly. This preserves the original look and fit while allowing each section to be tuned independently in the slicer without relying on height modifiers. The result is significantly improved consistency, easier tuning, and more reliable results—especially on Bambu printers and when printing translucent materials. Credits:Original design b
