The standard ModMic clasp has a few annoying drawbacks:It's got a very small diameter, giving very little stabilityThe magnet is a bit weakIt's only adjustable in 90 degree steps - if you have it pointing slightly down in its “in use” position, when rotating up out of the way it's still in your side viewThe clasp is really tight on the mic boom (possibly only a problem with the ModMic USB 2) as you can see from the massive dents it leftIf the mounting surface isn't flat and perpendicular to the axis between the cups (looking at you, Sennheiser HD490), when rotating the mic up it knocks against the headband.This solves all of those!Bigger (~20mm) diameter for easier control and more stability15mm magnets for better holding and stability12 adjustment steps rather than 4Includes flat and 7 degree offset base depending on headphone mount surface angleWhat you'll need:A pair of 15x1.8mm magnetsSome CA adhesive to secure themSome VHB or similar tape to attach the base to
