Recently bought my son an air powered rocket system and it's become his favorite thing in the world. Of course, I then wondered if I could make my own. While the one piece rocket worked well, I wanted to push for something modular. We're using this as a test bed so he can draw new wing shapes and cone shapes and then I print them to test his theories. It's a fun, education project! While many pieces can pressure fit, I recommend using tape as it will add strength as well as make the seams air tight - or at least enough to hold the pressure during launch. These are designed to work with this kit though you may be able to use it with others so long as they have the same diameter launch tube. The print profile has the nose pieces set to use Gyro infill at 10% while the body and radial fins use 4% hatch to save weight. This is an on-going project so I'll be sure to update this if we find any issues or come up with new pieces.
