I created this modular stand for our metal cat dishes since our cats like to turn over the bowls and make a mess. The stands can be connected via a 12 mm M3 screw and nut at each corner, and includes a cutout on one side to clamp them down. My previous iteration did not include the clamp and they just knocked the whole thing over, though they did have to work at it more than the bowls alone.
