A hole-tolerance test is included in the files so you can confirm your dowel sizes before assembly. The parts are designed for a snug fit, so if your dowels run slightly large, a bit of sanding will help them slide in smoothly. You typically won’t need glue, but if your dowels are on the loose side, a small amount can help secure everything. Keep in mind that wooden dowels often vary slightly in diameter.
