Printable direct drive mounts are pretty great, but many times they get in the way when having to do maintenance on your hot end. Too many times I have found myself having to dismantle my hot end assembly in order to remove the direct drive mount just to take care of a clogged nozzle or an extruder gear issue. But not any more!

I present to you, Thingiverse community, a modular direct drive! Save time in the inevitable occurrences of 3D printer troubleshooting by simply sliding your extruder off.
