Modular Drill Index

A fully parametric drill index system for the following drill bit sizes: 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm, 4.2mm, 4.5mm, 5mm, 5.5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm, 11.7mm, 12mm and 13mm The system is comprised of a wall mount, 3 removable index sections and 3 covers. The index sections slide into the wall mount using rear dovetails and are fixed in place using magnets. You're able to print multiple copies of the index sections you use the most and stack them in front of one another. Whilst I have provided .step and .stl files, the real value of this file is in the .F3D fusion archive file. All the major values are parametric, so you can alter the entire model to suit your needs by simply entering values into the parameters table. All major dimensions can switch via use of the parameters, including the drill sizes, hole depths, total height, dovetail size and angles, printing tolerances etc. This model is supplied in metric, however if you wish to use it for imperial, simply change the document units to inches and then enter your preferred values in the parameter table. All parameters are labelled and should be easy to understand. The model is fully jointed and animated within the file.
