Be sure to check out my new version of this lantern which has many many improvements: The Modular Lantern Chamfered Edition. This lantern, designed for the AnyCubic LED Kit is designed so that you can modify it's looks by printing new parts. The core consists of a frame that accepts the LED Kit, common top, decorative panels and solid coloured, semi-transparent (Most filament is at 3 layers). You can choose which panels to print and play around with coloured inserts, the top is push fit and can be removed to replace the panels. Start off with the MainBody.stl/3mf and insert the LED Kit: Now print the 'FullPanel.strl /3mf' 4 times in your favourite colours. Orange, Purple and White work well, the panel is only 3 layers thick and will let light through. It's a quick print. Then pick 4 inserts you want and print them in black, just like the full panels these are quick to print! Place the colour panels and inserts into the lantern. You can place them either way. If you place the black in front you can see the design in the day, otherwise it's revealed when you switch the led on. Now print the 'CommonTop.stl/3mf'L This can be pushed onto the top, it has a friction fit and needs no glue, so can be persuaded off again should you want to change things. Done? Well you can be it looks rather cool already: Now you can decide if you want this minimalist look or a traditional Lantern. If you go for modern you can leave as is or add a solid or transparent TopPanel, TopInsert and optional TopFrame: If you want a traditional look print the 'Skirt.stl / 3mf', again this has a push fit, it hides the original cable hole and adds it's own, if you have a small USB power bank it may fit in this. (15mm high x 100mm) Again you can stop here or add the 'OptionalRingTop.stl / 3mf' for the full lantern look: As always, if you have ideas for how to improve this or print your own please leave a message and a pic :-) Enjoy.
