This is my take on a classic lantern . Designed to be modular and to print without supports. I tried to make everything snap or screw together, but I suggest you glue on the top beam (you can still change the inserts). This project was a lot of fun to design and taught me about using threads to connect parts. The lantern is fully modular, so you can reuse the same base all year and just swap out the inserts or even design your own. You could also swap out the roof and the top ring, although for now, there is only one version of each of those (let me know if you want me to design something specific). For the inserts, the idea is that you can make your own (and I might add more in the future, if there is interest). There are 2 inserts:The colored piece (0.4mm thick and should be printed with the FINE setting in your slicer)The outer piece (70x95x1mm).
