What is the model intended for: - To demonstrate how many electrons fit into an orbital and according to which pattern the orbitals are filled (first the orbital S1 must be filled with 2 electrons, then orbital S2...) - To show the electron, prototon and neutron distribution of the different elements. A teacher could explain and show it on the model: Hydrogen only needs the S1 orbital because it only has 1 electron.
