Modular Slide-and-Snap Mount System

Modular Slide-and-Snap Mount System (+ Headlamp Adapter) This is a universal, 3D-printable modular mounting ecosystem based on a secure slide-and-snap mechanism. I designed this in Fusion 360 to create a reliable and versatile way to attach various gear, tools, and accessories to clothing, belts, webbing, or backpacks. The core system includes several variations (as seen in the CAD renders): Receiver Bases (Orange parts in CAD): Sew-on Base: Features pre-modeled holes along the perimeter to be sewn directly onto clothing or backpacks. Strap/Webbing Bases: Versions with single or double side loops, perfect for threading through belts, backpack straps, or MOLLE webbing. Insert Connectors (Blue parts in CAD): Blank Connectors: The base shape, ready to be merged with your own 3D models. Sew-on/Rivet Plates: Specialized inserts with holes to attach custom pouches or fabric gear to the male connector. Strap Loops: For attaching paracord or thin webbing.
