This is a model of a stone bridge that would have carried a road over a river, but is perhaps just used for pedestrians now, inspired by Prebends Bridge in Durham (built from 1772 to 1778), but in a more compact form, so the proportions are different. However, it could readily have a single track railway going over the top, or double track going under it.
The model is offered in modular form, with the spans and piers comprising the components, and the joins hidden by the angle on the pier (it is designed to minimise the vertical joins so the stonework looks good, but at the expense of the road; that will need to be filled in and smoothed off). This allows you to make a bridge with any number of arches.
There are two sizes of arches, 100 mm and 80 mm, and a good option would be a large arch in the middle, with shorter either side. They are about 40 mm wide. You can have it with or without balustrades.
Each pier will add a further 20 mm to the overall length. Piers are available in ve
