This is meant to be a small (6" x 4") ape of the Moft laptop stand. The "T" shaped cutout gets glued to the laptop/tablet/whatever, with the grooves pointing out.
The original attempt had square grooves, which got in the way of proper folding (though, it works pretty well using TPU, it's generally a bit bouncy). The v2 has semi-elliptic cut-outs along the grooves, which was meant to fix this bug. This worked, but reduced the device's ability to hold weight (it holds up my MBP, but my heavier 17" Dell is _real_ shaky). v3 has 45° cut-outs, terminating at a point 0.4mm (2 layers) from the baseplate. That's printing now, and I'll report back on how well that works.
