MOLLE speed clip

My take on fast attachment accessories for MOLLE webbing. Inspired by a couple of commercially available products as well as models here on thingiverse, although I designed it from scratch.

This model is slightly narrower than "standard" width for such clip in order to fit those smaller loops often found on edge of MOLLE panels where edge stiching happens.

Width: 23 mm

Length (interior): 127 mm

Thickness (excluding bottom skid and hooks): 3mm

Hook gap at pinching point: 0,5 mm

Hook gap at highest point: 3 mm

This is a 5 inch long clip (hook to hook) so It will occupy 5 rows of webbing. I will upload more sizes in the future.

I found the 0,5 mm gap at pinching point to be the best balance between good friction and ease to put in place with 1 or 2 layers of webbing. Slight sanding may fix a fit that is too tight.

Edge beveling gets a bit weird in the holes for paracord thanks to Sketchup web which I used to design (yeah I know ... still a newbie in 3D modeling)
