Mom's Lightbox

This lightbox was created as a very personal project for my wife after she lost her mother. They were extremely close, and her mom was the person she always turned to for advice and reassurance. After she passed, decision-making moments sometimes felt harder without that voice to guide her.The idea behind this design is simple — a quiet reminder that the guidance she needs is still with her.The top line asks the question many of us wish we could still ask:“What would mom do?”And below, written in her mother’s real handwriting, is the answer:“You already know sweetheart.”The cardinal was included as a symbol of remembrance and presence — a small sign that loved ones are never truly gone.This lightbox is meant to be comforting, gentle, and personal. If it helps even one other person feel a little closer to someone they miss, then sharing it was worth it.
