Momentary Push-Button Switch

This is a model of a surplus/generic push-button panel-mount switch. It will accommodate up to a 0.1"/2.5mm thick panel. The thread is strange. It seams to be a 1/4"-32, but the major diameter measures 0.265" / 6.75mm. This is closest to M7-0.8!? so I don't think it is metric. McMaster-Carr offers very similar switches that call out a 6mm/1/4" panel hole. However, the threading is not called out. The nut model is directly from McMaster-Carr and specified 1/4-32" and is not associated with the switch they offer.
