Monado Xenoblade with opening

This is a friend request for the Monado from Xenoblade. The big selling point of this Monado is that it can be both opened and closed modes.
You'll need to scale the sword 10x or 1000% to get it to be life-sized (55 inches) Each of the 3 sword chunks needs a .5 in x .5 in rod through them and the pins that hold the two bar linkage together need to be about .25 inches. These pins should be solid in the sword and are free spinning around the links.
When designing this my friend wanted it cut in half so that he can add LEDs and some method to make it open and close. If people want me to add not split parts I can I just want to know if someone needs them.
