Monitor Workspace Light

My monitor has space in front of it so I can look at videos or online instruction while having hobby projects where I can see both the monitor and the project. Unfortunately the area is very dark normally and I resorted to using a flashlight to clearly see labeling and other important things. So, I created an LED strip light to illuminate the area. It works very well.
I used super glue (with accelerator) to connect the 3D printed components together. I also used poster putty (aka Blu-Tack) to attach the parts to the top of my monitor which has a 14mm thick top. I also used some of the putty to ensure the LED strip adhesive doesn't come loose. Sometimes the LED adhesive isn't strong enough to hold up over time.
I used some small spade connectors so everything could be easily taken apart but soldering directly would probably be easiest.
The chamfered edges are designed for printing at a layer height of 0.25mm.
The following parts were used:
5.5mmx2.1mm DC Power Jack F
