SummaryPrevent your monopod from tipping over when using it with a small tripod base and an action camera by putting some additional weight at the bottom. This is often sold as a monopod counterweight. The print uses brass inserts for the 1/4 thread hole used in camera equipment and a double-sided 1/4 to 1/4 male screw adapter for a more reliable connection between your tripod base and your monopod. Weight is provided by metal BBs, sand, or similar.Print SettingsRafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2-.6mm Notes: This is a functional print not a beauty contest, so feel free to use the lowest resolution (biggest layer height) you can. With a .8mm nozzle, using .6mm layer height this will print in less than an hour. No supports are needed if you have good bed adhesion. Configure your settings so that your walls are solid, but the base fill can probably be 30-50%. After printing, use a soldering iron to place the brass inserts.
