More Than A Grade

I read the design challenge wrong: Instead of being in one of the three categories, I just created a representation of how I see education changing away from test scores and more towards interests. The education system of the future will be able to tap into a student's passions and create a more productive (and happy) individual for their future career.

My design has two pencils representing the Fine Arts & Math/Sci fields.On each side of the pencil is a design relating to specific passions within said field. Both pencils go inside the container for simplicity's sake.
