Original 3d model: https://grabcad.com/library/de-havilland-dh-98-mosquito-1
Wingspan- 600mm
Weight of printed parts- 310g
Work in progress, if you print it and fly it, give some feedback, and suggestions for improvements.
I designed it to use my old racing quadcopter parts.
This uses 2205 to 2306 size motors. These motors typically will deliver 1kg+ thrust each. So it should have unlimited vertical flight. It will take 5-6 inch props.
It is designed to fit a 1300-1500mah 4 cell battery, 3 or 4 9g servos (rudder optional) and there is a nose option to fit a Hs1177 style fpv camera.
You will need 6mm carbon tube for the wing spars, and fuselage spine. An ice cream stick ( we call it a paddlepop stick, in Australia) for the tailplanes.
Space inside is tight, and you may have to get creative to fit an fpv antenna in there.
The wing profile and area is straight from the
