Mostly Laser Cut MasterSpool

I present my Mostly Laser Cut MasterSpool, I had been working on a fully laser cut version but I wasn't happy with it from a usability point of view.

So a small compromise with some 3D printed clips to hold the sides and the core together, seems to work really well. The clips come in 2 versions with v1 being the most flexible and v2 being slightly thicker (and harder to insert).

The side of the MasterSpool have my branding and filament remaining guide on but if requested I can provide a blank version.

It's still in development and I have ideas from a new fully laser cut version in the works.

If your concerned about the core of the MLCMS hitting your spool holder, I would recommend, a thing by SpikeUK called MasterSpool Spaces, this was designed for my other laser cut MasterSpool but if you print 2 of the Wing Nut Spacer's, they will act as a bumper. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3383086
