Moth trap vane holder.

This is a part that fits on either end of a 22m pipe that holds the vanes for a Heath type moth trap. When the pipe is spiral wrapped the LEDs this is a cheap a durable light for this type of trap. The vanes can be made of acrylic or even cut from cardboard, suitable sized to fit in the funnel and sit about 40mm above the hole in the base. There are several resources on-line that show how to build the rest of the trap. Take care to release the moths later in the day when most birds have stopped flying and feeding. Happy trapping!
