The original motor mount is not very crashproof. The metal part bends easily, and the plywood firewall is flimsy and not very well attached..
So I made a sturdier assembly.
The Nutplates go behind the plywood firewall and can be fixated with hot glue after positioning them with the M4 Allen screws. If the locking nuts are loose in the Nutplate use CA.
Next fit the motor to the Front 6 part with the M3 Allen screws. Fit the assy to the Mount 7 part and glue Mount 7 to the fuselage. I used UHU Por. Tighten the M4 screws securely.
Now the plywood firewall is sanwiched btw the Mount 7 and the nutplates. It will not break.
The Spinner Nut goes in front of the prop attaching nut and has a M6 nut embedded. Hand tight is ok. My printer does not do spiral prints so it wobbles slightly.
I suppose the original spinner is ok to use here but I have not tried that combination.
It will be wise to re-tighten the Allen screws after the first flights.
