(Update 03-OCT-2021: made 20mm taller based on experience using it)
(Update 23-OCT-2021: don't need support under curve. use new Prusaslicer "snug" support)
(Update 07-NOV-2021: deepen chain clearance cuts by 5mm - upload 3mf)
This is a sump to help clean and lube my motorcycle chain.
This is very specific to my bike (an Energica EsseEsse9) but I've parameterized it as much as possible to make it a little easier to modify for other bikes. Use the "#" highlight/debug operator in OpenSCAD to explore how the pieces are arranged. It should at least provide inspiration and a starting point.
Since you need to remove the chain guard anyway to lube the chain on this bike, you bolt the sump to the swingarm in place of the guard.
I use a battery powered kerosene stick pump to run kerosene over the chain as I spin the rear wheel by hand. The stick pump provides a good flow without being too much, doesn't need to be primed, and is rated for the kerosene. I tried a bunch of pumps, inc
