This is an inertia driven automatic motorcycle chain oiler. The idea for the chain oiler is quite universal. The 3D files are special designed to keep the 'valve' mechanism relatively vertical on the BMW g650x.
Parts are printed using TPU, perfectly 'hugs' the subframe. They have opening for hose clamps to slot through.
For the oiler, coper and brass fittings you can easily find from the hardware stores. I experimented with ball bearings, but this design seems to have the best flow rate.
Brass Angle Needle Valve, 1/4" Compression Tube x 1/8" Male Thread
1/2 in copper pipe end cap
1/2 45degree elbow
1/2 sweat male adapter
10-24 Nickel plated acorn nut (make sure to use lock tire)
10-24 bolt
10-24 nylock nut or 2 normal nut to lock in place (idea is to create counter weight at a higher position to store more momentum)
Cameleon Chain Oiler - Semi-Rigid oiling tube
