This is version 2 of my motorized turntable. It is controlled with MQTT. Firmware available.
25.12.23: I give up the Wemos board. There was just endless problems with that board for me.
Now instead, the turntable uses NodeMCU v3.

Functions:
Continous motion clockwise/counterclockwise
Stop continuous motion.
Move to target
Movement completed message to mqtt broker.
Acceleration/deacceleration implementation (so objects dont fall).
USB Camera trigger (Gphoto2).
Setting for number of photos
Setting for camera delay
Pause / step back / resume function
Parts:
Raspberry pi zero/2W
NodeMCU v3 (Lolin) Without soldered headers.
Stepper driver: A4988
Voltage regulator: XL4015
5v Motor: 28BYJ-48
12v DC panel socket:
6 mm balls and grease for the bearingrace. I use airsoft pellets.
Precrimped JST XH-wires and 8-pin JST XH-connectors.
