Bring the mountains into your home!This magnet captures the awe-inspiring shape of the famous volcano Mount Saint Helens, which erupted in 1980 and had an immense impact on the surrounding area and throughout Washington State. I used the peakfinder website to get an accurate representation of the volcano as seen from Strawberry Mountain, about 15 miles to the northeast. I've climbed Mount Saint Helens and hiked in the surrounding area. It's crazy to see how the scars of the eruption have recovered, yet remain obvious on the landscape.
