Mountain Creek Bookmark

Just finished ski season and I miss the mountains already. I want to share the experience and feel of tranquility that envelopes me every time I visit the mountains. I paint this scene with the bluer colorization so your eyes may be affixed to the bottom of the creek, then they cascade up the waterway through the lush pine forest, and finally rest at the snowy mountain with its partially cloudy sky as a sense of peacefulness and relaxation fills you from the effect of nature. I framed this piece to better isolate your eyes to the window of the two pine trees and make this bookmark feel and look more like a piece of art. It helps in capturing a moment in time.
