For a long while I dreamed of making a stained glass window… Then I learned how hard they were to make, and who needs that! Then I got a 3d printer and starting making all sorts of stuff, and thought maybe it is time to re-awaken my hopes and dreams. I started with the transparent PETG filament and after I did my first set of prototypes I promptly gave up on my hopes and dreams again.. A pure filament version just didn't look good enough, it wasn't clear enough and no one was going to believe it was stained glass. But then I thought about combining the magic of 3d printing with the dark arts of resin pouring (not an original thought I know). It took me a few test runs to get something I was happy with. I am going to share my process here in case you want to replicate it. It is just a simple 11 step process. :)1.
