Mechanical Moving Panda Coaster

Design ConceptThis playful panda coaster combines functionality with a decorative piece, featuring a movable mechanism for whimsy. The original model had several parts at the wrong scale and saved in assembly position, which made printing difficult. I've remodelled the coaster mechanism at the right scale, attached it to the base and separated the parts where necessary for printing.PurposeIt serves as a fun and engaging coaster design while adding a charming aesthetic to your living space or office.Printing SuggestionsUse high-quality PLA materials with a layer height of 0.2mm. Support may be necessary for some parts, and a sturdy base is suggested to maintain balance. Print the paws and feet in a high level of infill, for weight to activate the coaster mechanism. 15% works, but a higher infill density would work better.Assembly InstructionsAlign the panda's limbs carefully while attaching the moving parts. The paws, feet and ears need to be glued, but most of the remaining parts are a press-fit. Use thin superglue on most joints, if needed, but medium/thick for the ears.
