This mount makes it easy to attach a small limit switch (with 9.5mm on-center mounting hole spacing) to the bolt head of one of the Z-axis bearings of an MPCNC.
Depending on the size of the spindle you have mounted, there may not be clearance to fit a micro-switch there, so check, first.
Max-limit switches are useful for CNC homing, especially if using grbl as your MPCNC firmware.
This mount fits over a 1/2" bolt head, and has 4mm nut traps for the limit switch mounting. I found it easier to put the limit switch mounting screws in from the inside (so the screw length is not important, they just poke out through the limit switch), so I did not use the small nut traps.
The stock MPCNC tool mount depresses the limit switch as it moves up. I found that a limit switch with a wheel was necessary because of the extra 2mm of length it provides. A normal lever micro-switch wasn't quite long enough to activate reliably.
Rotate the bolt head so that the limit switch body is slightl
