MRC DESERT THUNDER WHEELS

Full set of replacement Wheels for the 90's MRC Desert Thunder RC Buggy.

These replacement wheels are made with two changes, the front wheel is the same width as the back and the offset of both had to be changed to match the original front wheel(for clearance). The reason I have not replicated the original front wheel for this is that at the time of publishing these models there is not a readily available tire that will fit a ***half width*** 2.8" wheel like what the original Desert Thunder used. Finding an available 2.8" half width wheel/tire is difficult to impossible.

The back and front wheels I designed will fit Traxxas Alias ***2.8*** tires (Bandit or Jato Replacements NOT the 2.2 size!).... they are the only available tires I could find with a size that works and also has very similar tire patterns to the original with ribbed front tires for 2wd vehicles. You can also use Traxxas Anaconda 2.8 or Duratrax Bandit ST 2.8 tires for pavement/on road. (as of publishing).
