This model is a wire stripper designed to remove the jacket/insulation from wire/cable easily for recycling. The attached model is designed for a 12.5mm OD cable with a 2.5mm jacket thickness, but the Fusion360 design file is also attached so parameters can be changed at will. You only need to adjust the ‘Favourited’ Parameters (under MODIFY → Change Parameters) for "wire_dia" and “jacket_thick” as appropriate. After doing so the design will update automatically to be dimensioned with the right port size and cut depth for your cable. To use it, insert a utility knife blade into the rear of the tool, clamp it to something rigid like a benchtop vice and tidy the end of your cable for easy insertion. Feed it in and then pull through from the front to slice the jacket for easy core removal.
