Needed a way of powering some of my more diabolical PPE projects to up to 15V via standard 5v micro usb. MT3608 DC-DC voltage step up boost board is perfect for this.
This listing has two box / case / enclosure / covers for these boards:
one for micro usb input;
and a longer one for soldered inputs.
If you've never used the MT3608 board before WATCH THIS VIDEO:

They will catch fire if you don't pre-set Vout using a max 3.3v Vin to start. I did exactly as instructed in the above video using 2xAA batteries to input ~3.3v at initial power on and had no failures.
Design features:
-Thick walls for robust part.
-Chamfered bottom edges to compensate for extreme elephants foot if z0 to low.
-Heat vent channels in lids.
-Gaps in lid for zip tie, strain relief wire retention.
-Chamfered holes for jewellery screws all corners. 2.5mmx6mm work best. oth
