Design Concept:-A printable display cabinet that can be used for all sorts of items.Has sliding front opening.Would be best suited with Perspex and or Polycarbonate transparent sheet.On this design set I use heavy Safety Glass 6.4mm.The Glass sheets needs to be epoxied in place x 3 placed Rear and both sides. The Front Panel slides freely in the grooves.The base may be a Wood or printed base,glued on with Epoxy. The wood is machined and grooves for the countersinking (Routered) to match (Cabinet base) For Statues and larger display Items I use train sleeper wood and or more elegant wood types - always considering the environment when selecting as to ensure sustainability.For the printed base there are two extra items the (Ventilated box) and the (Power Box Lid) which has 8x holes for M4 screws.These are screwed with washers and bolts as to ensure safety.This cabinet can be used for all sorts of things - including mounting items and serve as base for children's toys or Artworks.)Glass and or composite sheets can be used, the latter maybe preferable.The top can house LED light and or other small light sources - the wiring runs down the back left side and has trim to cover it. (Wire cover)Use Marine silicon to glue Glass edges to each other. (The Epoxy is for Glass / 'Perspex' and Poly Carbonate sheet) to mounted to the base and top.The Top lid can be fitted with a sign - example shared.And the light screen (Lid Light Cover) is printed using Creality Paint - again all sorts of designs may be used - two examples shared here.I used Transparent filament where we want the light to shine through. You can play with creative ideas for the ceiling. The opening image shows a set of 12 stars printed in PLA.The Pin board is my designed based on alignment tools found in open-source Software - Attribution to Autodesk - Meshmixer (Best of the best!) for Pin connectors - my favorite 3D Mesh Opensource software for which I am truly grateful as a hobbyist.Print settings:-2mm height lay
