multi-purpose mount for shelving standards

I made this so I could mount pegboard to my pre-existing wall shelving system. The idea was to screw a piece of 3/4" wood to each of these and hang them from the shelving system. Then, hold up your pegboard and screw it into the wood pieces that are already hanging in place. It works great.

I also figure I could use this to mount all kinds of other things to the wall shelving brackets (standards).
