The rotary switch of my DMM220 multimeter was broken so I designed a small part that you can glue into the housing to fix this. If you had the same issue follow these steps:
.) Open your multimeter
.) Remove the PCB
.) Make a marking on the rotary switch part and the enclosure so that you know the correct orientation of the switch
.) Remove the broken part and clean up the area
.) Shove the ring partly over the hexagonal shaft of the rotary switch knob
.) Apply glue to one side of the ring
.) Press in the other part of the enclosure
.) Let the glue dry and then try it out
.) Reassemble your DMM
.) Rule the world!
