MUOS Satellite

3D Model of a MUOS satellite. Updated 9/1/2025 for better 3-piece reflectors, instead of 13-pieces. Requires 300x300mm print bed for the large reflector.

Special Print settings:

Solar Array top: black, then gold.
....0.12 layer height; 0.2 initial layer height
....2 bottom layers, 0 top layers, 2 walls
....Grid infill, 15%-25%, infill line direction 0 or 90 o 180

Solar Array Bottom: Mirror one set in your slicer.
If you have a 300mm print bed, print a mirrored pair (one at a time) of "Solar Array Single" in silver.
If you have a 200mm print bed, print mirrored pairs (one at a time) of both "Solar Array Bottom 1" and "Solar Array Bottom 2" in silver.
