Muquanas (stalactiles)

This is a muqurnas (stalactiles) building "kit". The scad contains 12 elements (solid and hollow, there is int the elements files). From this tiles can be create domes, arches, corbels or friezes.

For the tile creation, modelling, desing, tilling I used only the book "Arabesques - Decorative art in Morocco" from Jean-Marc Castéra (ISBN: 2-86770-124-4)
The tilling rules, the tiles in between page 289 and page 481.

This is an old project, I began it with the ray-tracing program Pov-ray, and this is one of the first model what i create in openscad.
Try to create every tile from the book, but only 12 success (some are from the page 316 to 318)
I just want to play with the tiles.

The two finished model is upside-down in the stl for better printing.

I think you can print the tiles seperatly and than glue it together, but I think its better when you design the model in openscad and than print it.


(After the stl generation need to fix the model, I dont know why)
